FAQ

What is a typical session like?

That is probably the most challenging question I am asked, since what happens in a session is always a mystery until it unfolds and reveals itself.  But what is generally consistent are certain actions, qualities and structures.

Regardless of whether the session's format is channeling, a chart reading or spiritual energetics (SES), I spend some time creating sacred space.  This may be done before or after the client is present, and involves cleansing, blessing and opening the space to spiritual assistance of the purest intention and the highest vibration. Songs are usually offered, and silent or spoken intentions focus on enlisting spiritual aid that can best serve the particular person who is partaking in the session.

I generally do not know who or what can "best serve," and the freer I can be from preconceived notions or agendas, the better.  My job is to receive the assistance, allow it to be what it is, and follow whatever guidance it provides in concert with my own intuition and toolbox of skills.

During channelings and chart readings, the client and I usually each sit in a chair dialoging.  During an SES, the client  usually lies on a massage table (wearing comfy clothing is advised), and some of the "tools" I may use are dynamic imagery dialogue, craniosacral, shamanic, sound, past/future-life, alternate and simultaneous reality, light and color methods.

What do you mean by "dynamic imagery dialogue?"

When I "tune in" to the person lying on the massage table, there usually comes a point where a movie appears within my inner vision.  The images move for awhile and then stop, isolating one scene that wishes to be made known to the client.  It is an invitation for the person to interact with the scene. The images that appear range from being quite serious to being very funny....even ridiculous and irreverent.

It really doesn't seem to matter what the person says, sounds, or asks at this time.  Simply by engaging, the imagery is enlivened and unfolds further.  It always appears for the benefit of the client and either literally or figuratively represents an energetic presence whose reality is meant to intermingle with the client's at least for that moment in time.

I often serve as an intermediary between the person and the imagery.  For those, however, who are accustomed to working in this way already, or whose inner vision is quite open and active, we are apt to move within the unfolding scenes together, or the client may take the lead with his or her own vision.

You do not need to be a person who gets images in order to benefit.  I can be the seer and you can get the feel, the sound, the flavor, of the interaction.  These sensory modalities and others are just as, and maybe more, effective.

What do you mean by "space?"

"Space" in the context of a session refers to the physical and nonphysical space where the client, spiritual energies and I meet for the purpose of some type of healing to occur.  "Space" also refers to the space within each of us that holds our physical form.

What do you mean by "healing?"

"Healing," as I use the term, does not mean "fixing" anyone.   From my point of view it means to facilitate the softening of resistance so that opening to inner wisdom and resolution can occur.

Resistance is an obstacle to flow and provides its own reward.  By that I mean that wherever a person is blocked or in pain, there exists a golden opportunity to experience where there is easiness in the body and psyche and where there is un-easiness.  The resistance helps a person to pay attention to something that wants attention and resolution of some sort.

I hope this has been helpful!
