Preparation for a Channeling Session

 

People generally find that they get more out of a channeling session if they have thought about what they want to discuss and ask.  At the same time, if they can remain flexible about unexpected topics, and changes in direction, there is an additional richness to the experience that usually emerges.

 

You may ask questions about anything.  If the questioning begins to cross boundaries of privacy, let’s say in terms of another person you want to know about, the spiritual presence/s will help to redirect your questions so that they are more focused on you and your process in relation to the other person.

 

The more you take risks with your topics and questions, the deeper your experience is apt to be.  If you are in a dilemma, the more open you can be to another perspective, the more expansive you are apt to feel.  This sense of expansion often frees people up to become clearer about their options and their decisions.

 

After we settle in, I usually stand and beat a hoop drum for a few minutes, accompanied by sounds and songs.  This helps me to shift into an altered state of consciousness.  After this I get seated and let you know when we, meaning nonphysical participants and I, are ready.

Preparation for an Astrology Session

 

For this I need your time of birth as shown on your birth certificate, place of birth and date of birth.  These are needed to generate a chart.

  

I particularly like to focus on people’s transits and progressions in addition to the basic birth chart.  Transits and progressions give pertinent information about the current planetary patterns that are influencing a person in the here and now.  It can be very helpful in terms of understanding why certain things are happening in one’s life at this time and also what influences are on the horizon.,  As mentioned on the Astrology page, I have a definite preference for something called Evolutionary Astrology, and that is the perspective I will bring to the reading. 

 

If you are looking for quite specific information, such as where to live, whether you should go into a business partnership with a particular person and so on, then channeling is apt to be a more fruitful kind of session for you.

 

Preparation for a Shamanic or Spiritual Energetics Session

 

For both of these kinds of sessions, you lie on a massage table, dressed comfortably.  I am typically scanning your body to read through my hands where your energy is flowing well, or where it may be somewhat congested.  Having you lie on a table allows me to do craniosacral work when it seems indicated, and lying horizontally is a facilitative position for shamanic work.

 

If you are familiar with traditional shamanic work and would like that kind of session, just let me know (soul retrieval, power animal, psychopomp).  Otherwise, I’ll simply incorporate key shamanic practices that I have found to be particularly useful into the session.

 

In terms of preparation, just let me know what you are hoping to experience or accomplish.

 

FEES and POLICIES

 

***Channeling and Astrology sessions can be done over the phone or in person.  For phone sessions you call me at the designated time and away we go!***

 

***Sessions are 1 hour minimum, 2 hours maximum***

 

Fees:  Channeling, Shamanic, Spiritual Energetics sessions are $80/hour.

 

For a first time astrology client, an astrology reading is $160/the first hour and $80/hour for any additional time (I will have done 1- 2 hours of preparation prior to the reading itself).  If you are a returning astrology client, a lower first hour fee may be possible depending upon what you are wanting done and how long it has been between readings.

 

All sessions are tape recorded and if mailed to you, there is a $5 S&H fee.

 

Payment is by personal check or cash.  People receiving a session by phone need to mail me a check for the amount of time you estimate you will need.  Unfortunately I can no longer extend our session in the moment and have you send me the balance you owe later, due to a few people who have been negligent in this regard.

Lateness Policy:  If I am late for our session, I will discount your fee.  If you arrive or telephone late that’s fine, but realize that the hour starts at the scheduled time.  If you are coming in person and are a first-timer, you might want to allow extra driving time to locate the office.

 

Cancellation Policy:  I require 24 hours notice of cancellation.  If you cancel in less than 24 hours or do not show for an appointment, you are billed for 1 hour.
